The Road to Get Here

When I think about what made me pursue a professional organizing career with such a passion, I think back to my childhood in Waterford, Virginia.  From as early as I can remember, one of my favorite things in the world was joining Mom in the kitchen after we got home from the grocery store.  I would take pride in tucking all the groceries away into their designated and categorized spots in the fridge, freezer, and pantry.

I loved creating order out of chaos, the way the kitchen looked when I was done, and how an organized kitchen made it easier for our family to find what we needed, when we needed it. Most of all, I loved helping my incredibly busy mom.  She was a mother first and volunteered in all things related to me and my sisters while keeping our house together and our home a healthy and happy one.  To this day, I have no idea how she did it all.

"Most of all, I loved helping my incredibly busy mom."

While I have had incredibly fulfilling professional pursuits over the years, deep down inside, I still wanted the “job” I had as a five-year old - one that combined my passions for order, design, usefulness, and service.

Now, years later, I get to work with retired parents, busy moms, and single professionals, all of whom just want their homes decluttered, downsized, or more relevant to their current lives.  All so that they can focus on their highest priorities. I get to wake up every day and make their lives a little easier.

I absolutely love what I do.
